Her close relationship with Don Julio Barreda and his supreme Accoyo breeding stock that she was able to obtain from his ranch, quickly gave new meaning to suris in the United States. NGG Alpacas quickly started winning show after show and Nola was able to watch the offspring produced from her breeding program carry on that tradition of winning in the show ring.
Nola has made several trips to Peru to further her knowledge of the alpaca in general and specifically the suri breed. She became close to Don Julio and very much enjoyed her time with him. Nola feels that Don Julio was one of the most knowledgeable people in the world when it comes to alpacas. As Nola's herd grew her breeding program produced many award winning alpacas. Many alpaca owners and breeders have come to Nola for advice and the use of her many Accoyo Herdsires to enhance their own herds.
For some time now Nola has considered "ACCOYO" the real "ROYAL" family of Castle Hill Farm and the very basis of NGG Alpacas. Now the whole country wants a "ROYAL" family for their own Alpaca Kingdom. One of the first Accoyo Males purchased by Nola has produced over 140 offspring. There are to many award winning offspring to mention!
